Request deletion of your data

You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you at any time, including anything we received from Instagram or Facebook. You do not need an account with us to make the request, and we do not charge for it.

How to request deletion

Email info@ustaxx.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, and tell us which of these applies so we can find your records:

• your Instagram username, if you commented or messaged us there
• the email address you used, if you downloaded something from our site

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days. You may also send the request by post to the address on our contact page, or by phone on +1 (847) 773-7070.

What we hold, and why

Instagram comments

The text of a comment you leave on our posts, its ID, the post it belongs to, and the time it was left — used to answer you and, where you asked for a download, to send it.

Instagram messages

The text of a conversation you start with us, so we can reply.

Your Instagram username

Where Instagram provides it, so a reply can address you by name.

Download requests

If you asked for a checklist on our website: your name, email address, which file you requested, and whether you opted in to our updates.

What deletion covers

We delete the records above from our systems, including any stored copy of your comment or message and any record that we replied to you. Two limits worth stating plainly:

•The comment or message as it exists on Instagram belongs to your own Instagram account. We can delete our copy; only you (or Instagram) can remove the original. You can delete a comment yourself from within Instagram at any time.
•Where we are required by law to keep certain records — for example, tax records for a client engagement — we keep only what the law requires and delete the rest.

Removing our access instead

You can also stop us receiving any further data from Meta without contacting us: in Instagram or Facebook, open Settings → Apps and websites and remove the USTAXX app. That ends future access; email us as above to delete what we already hold.
